TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show UPDATE
The TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show presented by ASICS Moves to Sydney Olympic Park in 2026.
If you are a business or organisation that would like to exhibit at this year's Running Show, find out more here.
The TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show presented by ASICS is set to evolve in 2026 with a new home at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
The TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show will take place across three days, from Thursday, 27 August to Saturday, 29 August, forming a key part of race week as runners arrive in Sydney, collect their race bibs and immerse themselves in the build-up to event day. The Running Show will once again serve as the central meeting point for participants, partners and the broader running community ahead of the marathon weekend.
As the event continues to grow in its second year as an Abbott World Marathon Major, this move allows us to create an even bigger, more immersive, and more dynamic TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show experience.
With increased capacity, wider walkways, and more flexible layouts, Sydney Showground provides the perfect stage for Australia’s largest running expo to evolve. More space means more exhibitors, more activations, more opportunities to explore the latest in running technology, health and fitness trends, and more chances to connect with fellow participants, event partners and charities. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned marathoner, the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show will continue to be your central hub for race week.
Sydney Olympic Park holds a significant place in Australia’s sporting history, as it was the home of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games marathon finish, a moment that united the nation and showcased our city to the world. The TCS Sydney Marathon was created the following year as a legacy of those Games, and over the past two decades has grown from that foundation into the first Abbott World Marathon Major in the Southern Hemisphere. Bringing the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show to Sydney Olympic Park in 2026 strengthens this connection, allowing runners to collect their race bibs in a location that reflects both the origins of the event and its ongoing link to Australia’s Olympic history.
