Step into the future of running with the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show presented by ASICS, Australia’s biggest running expo! With over 50 exhibitors, event partners, and charities, you’ll get the latest technology, knowledge, and support to make your race prep easier than ever – regardless of running experience. Not only that, but visitors to the show can also take advantage of the free exhibition, which is home to the newest trends in health and fitness.

Head over to the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show presented by ASICS for bib collection (which is your race number for event day) – the central hub for everything related to running. This immersive event not only functions as the collection point for race day essentials but also serves as your primary destination for running-related information, entertainment, and the chance to interact with our sponsors.

All participants must pick up their race number during the given dates and times, while non-participants can still visit the show. So come join us and prepare to be amazed by what this event has to offer – this is not your ordinary running expo.

Getting there

Trains 

The closest stations to ICC Sydney are Central and Town Hall. From Central, change for L1 Dulwich Hill line light rail services to the Exhibition Centre stop, which is across from the venue. You can also walk from Central via Quay St or Hay St. From Town Hall you can walk to Darling Harbour via Bathurst St. 

Metro

​The closest metro stations to ICC Sydney are Central and Gadigal (near Town Hall). From Central continue on foot via Quay St or Hay St, from Gadigal take the Bathurst St exit and continue along Druitt St towards Darling Harbour to reach ICC Sydney. 

Light Rail 

The closest light rail stops are Convention and Exhibition Centre on the L1 Dulwich Hill Line, which runs between Central Station and the Inner West. Catch an L1 Line service to Exhibition Centre, the stop is located across from the venue. Light rail services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Alternatively catch a L2 Randwick or L3 Kingsford Line light rail service to Town Hall and continue on foot via Druitt St towards ICC Sydney. 

Ferry 
Catch a ferry to Pyrmont Bay, from there you can walk to the ICC Sydney or connect with nearby light rail services to Exhibition Centre to get within a shorter walking distance to the venue. 

Bus 

Catch a bus to Harris Street and walk a short distance to the venue. 

Ride share/drop off 

The closest vehicle drop-off point is located at Zollner Circuit, accessed via Darling Drive and a short walk from the venue.   

Driving 

If you have to drive, expect delays and allow extra travel time on roads approaching the precinct, particularly on weekdays during the morning and evening peaks. Parking is available at ICC Sydney, entry via Darling Drive. For real-time updates on traffic conditions, visit livetraffic.com

Accessibility 

  • Driving: Best way to get to the venue is via driving. P1 has eight (8) and P2 has four (4) accessible parking spaces. 

  • Light Rail: ICC Sydney is located on the L1 Dulwich Hill light rail line and is serviced by two (2) light rail stops: Exhibition Centre; and Convention. The L1 Dulwich Hill light rail line departs regularly from Central 

  • Alight at Convention for access to Convention Centre, Darling Harbour Theatre, and the Grand Ballroom. The distance from the station exit to the venue entrance is about 65 metres 

  • Alight at Exhibition Centre for access to ICC Sydney Theatre and Exhibition Centre. The distance from the station exit to the venue entrance is about 140 metres. 

  • Both stations provide at-grade and stair-free access to the venue entrances, with a signalised pedestrian crossings available to safely cross Darling Drive.

GETTING THERE

Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time. Visit transportnsw.info to plan your trip. 

You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show.

The only option for bag drop is at the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show presented by ASICS and is only available to marathon runners. 
 

When you choose to drop off your post-race items at the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show presented by ASICS, we can assure you that your bag will be readily available for you upon your race day finish. A bag will be provided for you to drop your post-race items into at the dedicated bag drop area at expo.


Please note that bag drop will not be available on the day of the race and must be dropped at the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show, presented by ASICS between Thursday 28th - Saturday 30th August. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. 
 

Please note there will be no bag drop for the TCS Sydney Marathon 10km or the TCS Sydney Mini Marathon participants. For participants in these events, please only take what you will require to participate in your event, and we thank you for your cooperation. 

BAG DROP

We highly recommend that all TCS Sydney Marathon runners take advantage of the option to drop off their bags at the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show presented by ASICS.
