The energy of marathon day comes from everyone involved – which is why we don't believe, we know, that spectators are essential to Sydney - the seventh Abbott World Marathon Major - being the epicentre of the running world on Sunday, August 31st.
So what's in it for you?
You'll witness the greatest marathon runner of all time. And we'll let you know where and when.
Eliud Kipchoge is widely regarded as the greatest marathon runner of all time. And you have the chance to witness this once-in-a-lifetime athlete right here in Sydney. This will be a defining moment in Australian sporting history, and we want you there to soak in every second of it!
And Kipchoge isn't just fast; he represents a philosophy of dedication, discipline, and pushing boundaries. His famous mantra, "No human is limited," permeates beyond the sport of running. Not only will you take in his athletic prowess, but you'll see him embody philosophy through action. It's incredibly motivating, trust us - we've seen him before!
Our socials, website, app and signage on the day are going to let you know where and when Eliud will be in each location on the course, so you can be a part of our shared history on Sunday, August 31.
