ATHLETE HUB
Run Together. Rise Together.
In collaboration with NSW Athletics (NSWA), the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS have recruited Partner Run Clubs across Australia, to be part of the Marathon Legacy Project.
This initiative goes far beyond kilometres - it’s about connection. It’s about creating inclusive, welcoming environments where runners of all abilities feel supported and inspired. And it’s about building a national network of clubs united by a shared commitment to growing Australia’s running community.
Our Partner Run Clubs will deliver four long runs each aligning with the official marathon training plan. Join a Partner Run Club near you and train with likeminded runners on the same journey to Sydney!

Coogee Run Club
The Coogee Run Club is a community-driven crew from Sydney's eastern suburbs, bringing locals together through movement and connection. Built on the ethos "all faces, all paces, all welcome, always," the club supports everyone from first-time 5K runners to seasoned marathoners, showing up in force at major running events with that unmissable Coogee spirit.
FUN FACT
The Coogee Run Club is way more than just a run club – we're a community on the move for good! From Coastal Clean Ups and Pop Up Op Shops, to parkrun volunteering takeovers, blood drives, and fundraising for our charity partner the Black Dog Institute, we live by our Do Good Feel Good mantra.

Tribal Run Club
Tribal Run Club is a Sydney-based running community built on the belief that we won't be the reason you move to Sydney, but we can be the reason you call it home. We connect expats and locals through inclusive, social running that builds friendships, confidence and a genuine sense of belonging.
FUN FACT
We don't just run, Tribal is a full community. We cycle, swim, race triathlons and spend plenty of time socialising outside of runs. We love trips away to races too. We even have a marketplace group helping members find jobs and housing in Sydney and soon, our own space in Hillsdale, a gym and social hub designed to help you become a stronger, better runner.

Sydney Harbour Runners
Sydney Harbour Runners was founded in 2013 and welcomes everyone to our community. We're based in the heart of Sydney CBD and love to run around our harbour and bridge to show the best sights in Sydney. As long as you come with a positive attitude and have a willingness to keep going, we will always welcome you back.
FUN FACT
Many of our runners primarily run on the road. However, there are groups of friends that go on trail runs and triathlons with several of our run leaders organising weekend training sessions.

Sydney Frontrunners
Sydney Frontrunners provides encouragement, support and community to LGBTQIA+ people and friends, who are interested in joining us for running and walking. We welcome people of all running abilities, and walkers too. You don't have to be an accomplished runner to join Sydney Frontrunners, just come with a good attitude, an open mind and a passion for inclusivity!
FUN FACT
Sydney Frontrunners are part of a global network of LGBTQIA+ Frontrunner clubs, the first of which began in San Francisco in 1974. After the first Gay Games was held in 1982, many other clubs sprung up, including Sydney which began in 1983, and now has grown to be one of the largest in the world. The International Frontrunners are an incredibly strong network of clubs, almost every week we are joined by a Frontrunner from interstate or around the world, who are keen to see the best running and walking routes Sydney has to offer.

Sydney Striders
Sydney Striders is a welcoming and inclusive running community founded in 1980. As one of the first clubs to offer marathon training, created in response to the lack of run clubs in Sydney at the time, we continue to support runners of all abilities through social runs, structured programs, and events fostering fitness, friendship, confidence, and a lifelong love of running across Sydney.
FUN FACT
Sydney Striders don't just show up to run — we help lead the running community. We proudly support The Run Beyond Project, using running to empower young people facing adversity. We regularly take over all the volunteering roles at local parkruns. Most notably, we are the race custodians of the iconic Six Foot Track Marathon. From grassroots community runs to legendary endurance events, Striders are deeply woven into the fabric of Australian running.

Inner West Run Club
Inner West Run Club was founded in 2022 by mates who wanted a more social and welcoming running community in Sydney's Inner West. Built for everyday runners, the club focuses on connection over competition. Bringing together locals, expats, and newcomers for relaxed group runs followed by a well-earned post-run drink. What started as a few friends running together has grown into a community where people come for the run but stay for the friendships.
FUN FACT
Through our community we've helped raise around $10,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation over the past two years. The fundraising began after one of our members was diagnosed with cancer. Seeing the club rally around him was incredibly special, and we organised runs and initiatives to support the cause. Thankfully he's now doing well and working his way back to full fitness, which has made the whole journey even more meaningful for the group.
