ATHLETE HUB

Run Together. Rise Together.

In collaboration with NSW Athletics (NSWA), the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS have recruited Partner Run Clubs across Australia, to be part of the Marathon Legacy Project.

This initiative goes far beyond kilometres - it’s about connection. It’s about creating inclusive, welcoming environments where runners of all abilities feel supported and inspired. And it’s about building a national network of clubs united by a shared commitment to growing Australia’s running community.

Our Partner Run Clubs will deliver four long runs each aligning with the official marathon training plan. Join a Partner Run Club near you and train with likeminded runners on the same journey to Sydney!

Sydney Muslim Run Club

Sydney Muslim Run Club was founded in 2025 as a movement designed to break barriers. Through Sydney Muslim Run Club, Muslim runners within Sydney and beyond discovered their love and passion for running, entering the running space with comfort and ease - backed by a supportive community. SMRC has also helped bridge the gap between the Muslim running community and the wider Sydney running community - bringing communities, people and runners together all over Sydney and beyond.

FUN FACT

Food comes first…always. We've been asked multiple times whether our runners actually "run" because sometimes we come across as a foodie-club…I swear we run though! Everything from 2km fun runs to 160km trail races! We just love socialising before & after over a good sweat treat!
