ATHLETE HUB
Run Together. Rise Together.
In collaboration with NSW Athletics (NSWA), the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS have recruited Partner Run Clubs across Australia, to be part of the Marathon Legacy Project.
This initiative goes far beyond kilometres - it’s about connection. It’s about creating inclusive, welcoming environments where runners of all abilities feel supported and inspired. And it’s about building a national network of clubs united by a shared commitment to growing Australia’s running community.
Our Partner Run Clubs will deliver four long runs each aligning with the official marathon training plan. Join a Partner Run Club near you and train with likeminded runners on the same journey to Sydney!

Byron Bay, NSW
Runaway Club Byron Bay
Runaway Club Byron is a welcoming running community built over the past year around weekly Tuesday evening runs, with occasional weekend runs. Open to all levels, from beginners to marathon runners, it brings together mainly expats and travellers (as well as some locals) in Byron who are looking to stay active and build community.
FUN FACT
Our run club attracts runners from all over the world as they're moving to or travelling through Byron. One week we even had two Canadians show up who didn't know each other, only to realise they were from the same hometown and had mutual friends - it was a small-world moment for sure!

Woy Woy, NSW
Woy Woy Runners
Founded in July 2021, Woy Woy Runners is a friendly, community-focused running group on the Central Coast. We welcome all fitness levels for coastal runs, trails, and social sessions that encourage progress, connection, and healthy living. Whether you're chasing a PB or a relaxed jog, our supportive crew makes every run enjoyable.
FUN FACT
Our motto is "you'll never run alone". All our runs generally finished near a coffee shop for our post run shoe chats. The crew is known for cheering louder than the event MC at fun runs and charity events.

Never Run Club
We started in 2023, when we (Elton and Lachie) stepped away from team sport. Our aim was to keep active and stay in touch with our mates. We never expected to grow to where we are. We're now a welcoming community seeing runners come from all around the Hunter Region.
FUN FACT
We've had partnerships with multiple local businesses and we aim to make each experience unique, and we have even collaborated for an event with our local NRL team, the mighty Newcastle Knights!

New South Wales
Bangalow, NSW
Bangalow Runners
Bangalow Runners is a social running community built around a simple Sunday ritual - running together through nature and sharing coffee afterwards. Since 2022, locals have come together to move, connect and support each other. It's a grounded crew of good people who show up each week. We run Bangalow & Northern Rivers.
FUN FACT
We do an annual run up a hill called 'The Bastard'. The Bastard run includes access to a private road (a big, long hill), bass filled river crossings, scenic views of Bangalow hinterland and glimpses of the ocean.
