Community Ambassador

In collaboration with NSW Athletics (NSWA), the TCS Sydney Marathon is recruiting for six 2026 Community Ambassadors as part of the Marathon Legacy Project.

This is your chance to inspire, connect, and represent your community on Australia’s biggest running stage.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for passionate advocates for running who embody the spirit of inclusivity, community, and inspiration.

A Community Ambassador should:

Be an enthusiastic supporter of the NSW running community.

Demonstrate a commitment to building and contributing to a positive running culture.

Be willing to attend and assist with monthly Sydney Marathon Run Club (SMRC) sessions.

Feel comfortable creating, sharing, or featuring in content about training, health, and marathon preparation.

What You'll Receive

As a 2026 Community Ambassador, you’ll gain exclusive access to resources and opportunities designed to help you grow as an athlete, coach, and community leader:

Financial contribution - Enhance your running journey and ambassador experience.

Applications are open to runners across NSW, Australia who are ready to make a difference.

What are your personal running goals, and how do you hope to grow through this ambassador experience?
How do you currently support or promote diversity and inclusion in your running community?
How would you use your platform as a TCS Sydney Marathon Community Ambassador to inspire and connect with others?
