In collaboration with NSW Athletics (NSWA), the TCS Sydney Marathon is recruiting for six 2026 Community Ambassadors as part of the Marathon Legacy Project.
This is your chance to inspire, connect, and represent your community on Australia’s biggest running stage.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for passionate advocates for running who embody the spirit of inclusivity, community, and inspiration.
A Community Ambassador should:

Be an enthusiastic supporter of the NSW running community.

Demonstrate a commitment to building and contributing to a positive running culture.

Be willing to attend and assist with monthly Sydney Marathon Run Club (SMRC) sessions.
-
Feel comfortable creating, sharing, or featuring in content about training, health, and marathon preparation.
