TCS Sydney Marathon Championships

This September, you have the opportunity to make history and take-home bragging rights at the Australian Marathon Championships in Sydney.

This is your chance to showcase your club’s or team’s talent on a national stage. Join us at the 2024 TCS Sydney Marathon, presented by ASICS, and compete against the best athletes from across Australia.

The competition will be fierce, but the rewards will be even greater. Not only will you have the chance to be crowned Australian champion, but you’ll also have the opportunity to network with other clubs, meet like-minded runners and celebrate your achievements together.

Championship Details

Australian (Elite) Marathon Championships

The traditional Australian Championship with 3 male and 3 female athletes representing their State. State Champions are also awarded to the best performing State.

Who can enter?

State athletic associations can nominate 3 male and 3 female athletes to represent their state. (Full Marathon participants only)

Who can win?

Fastest male and fastest female.

There is no maximum number of participants in each team. Only the top 3 results will count for the Australian (Elite) Marathon Championships in the male and female categories.
