Partner Run Club

In collaboration with NSW Athletics (NSWA), the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS is recruiting for twenty Run Clubs across NSW to be part of the Marathon Legacy Project. This is your opportunity to inspire, connect, and represent your Run Club on Australia’s biggest running stage.

We’re seeking 10 Sydney-based and 10 Regional NSW Run Clubs with vibrant, engaged communities who want to play a lead role in hosting unforgettable run club events in 2026.

What We're Looking For

We’re searching for Run Clubs that proudly lead, uplift, and inspire their running communities.

All Partner Run Clubs will be required to:

Host 4x Run Clubs - one per month aligning with our 16-week TCS Sydney Marathon training program
Demonstrate the values of the TCS Sydney Marathon and NSW Athletics
Provide a safe and inclusive environment for runners of all abilities
Be willing to attend the 2026 TCS Sydney Marathon Run Club Zone on event day (Sunday, 30 August 2026)
Engage with TCS Sydney Marathon sustainability initiatives, such as Pledge for the Planet's 21-day mission.

Additional requirements for Sydney-based Run Clubs:

Be present and engage with the community at TCS Sydney Marathon Run Clubs

Provide a volunteer team at a minimum of one TCS Sydney Marathon Run Club per year

What You and Your Club Will Receive

As a 2026 Partner Run Club, you’ll gain exclusive access to resources and opportunities designed to help you grow as a club.

Affiliation – Associated with the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS.
TCS Sydney Marathon Entries - Non-complimentary 2026 TCS Sydney Marathon entries.
Free Coaching Accreditation - Level 1 Recreational Run Coach Accreditation for one leader per club.
Online and Social Visibility - Presence across TCS Sydney Marathon social channels and website.
Administration Support - Administration support and operational advice.
Sydney 10 and Sydney Half Entries - Non-complimentary 2026 NSWA Sydney 10 and Sydney Half entries for your club.
Affiliation - Recreational Running Club Affiliation with RunNSW, an NSWA membership.
Insurance - Coverage under the RunNSW affiliation.
