This is the month the alarm goes off before the sun does. The month your legs are tired before the week is halfway through. The month training stops feeling like a choice and starts feeling like a identity.
Five months out from the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS, this is the month that separates the runners who feel ready from the runners who become ready. Some sessions will feel heavier than they should. That's not a sign you're falling behind - that's the work doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

Perseverance
Finish what you start.
The runs you complete when you least feel like it are the ones that define your race. Perseverance isn't a personality trait, it's a practice. Build it here, every week, one session at a time.

Resilience
Resilience is emerging as the fourth dimension of endurance - the part you can’t test in a lab but feel in every step. It stands alongside VO₂max, lactate threshold, and running economy, yet it’s the only one built through showing up, pushing through, and choosing to keep going.
It’s the quiet strength that turns effort into belief, and belief into the kind of runner who arrives on the start line knowing they’ve earned every moment.
