If you're questioning whether you've done enough, you're not alone, says Head Coach Georgie Weir. Here's how to trust your preparation before race day.
Race-day confidence isn't something you find at the start line, it's built through every training run, every hill and every early morning, says Head Coach Georgie Weir.

As marathon day approaches, it's normal to question whether you've done enough. The good news is that confidence doesn't come from race day; it comes from preparation. Here’s how to prepare for the starting line.
Know the course
Take the time to understand the course profile – where the hills are, where the aid stations are and what to expect on the day. Confidence grows when uncertainty is replaced with knowledge.
Trust the work you've done
If you have incorporated hill sessions, consistently shown up, completed your long runs and put in the work, you've already built the strength and resilience you'll need. Trust your training and trust yourself.
Expect mental fatigue
Marathon training is demanding. Balancing training with work, family and life can leave you feeling mentally exhausted. Some days motivation will be high, while other days simply getting out the door is a win. And that’s OK.
When things feel tough, focus on what you can control and remember that every run has helped prepare you for this.
